Under normal circumstances, the smart lock will have alarm information in the following four situations:
01. Anti-piracy alarm
This function of smart locks is very useful. When someone forcibly removes the lock body, the smart lock will issue a tamper-proof alarm, and the alarm sound will last for several seconds. To disarm the alarm, the door needs to be opened in any correct way (except mechanical key unlocking).
02. Low voltage alarm
Smart locks require battery power. Under normal use, the battery replacement frequency is about 1-2 years. In this case, the user is likely to forget the time to replace the smart lock battery. Then, low pressure alarm is very necessary. When the battery is low, every time the smart lock is “wake up”, an alarm will sound to remind us to replace the battery.
03. Oblique tongue alarm
The oblique tongue is a type of lock tongue. Simply put, it refers to the deadbolt on one side. In daily life, because the door is not in place, the oblique tongue cannot be bounced. This means the door is not locked. The person outside the room opened it as soon as it was pulled. The chances of it happening are still high. The smart lock will issue a diagonal lock alarm at this time, which can effectively prevent the danger of not locking the door due to negligence.
04. Duress alarm
Smart locks work well to secure the door, but when we are forced to open the door by a thief, just locking the door is not enough. At this time, the duress alarm function is very important. Smart locks can be equipped with a security manager. Smart locks with Security Manager have duress alarm function. When we are forced to open the door, just enter a forced password or a pre-set fingerprint, and the security manager can send a message to a friend or family member for help. The door will be opened normally, and the thief will not be suspicious, and protect your personal safety at the first time.
